Isabella Dias

Isabella is a senior physiotherapist with over 4 years’ experience providing private and NDIS physiotherapy supports within the community setting. Isabella loves working with people who have disabilities to help them achieve their goals relating to their independence and participation in the community. Isabella’s style of therapy is functional, with exercises that are goal-specific and can be practically completed in the home setting with current home supports.

When Isabella is not working, she loves spending her time at home with her husband and 2 cats - Rain and Willow. She enjoys going to the gym, dancing, and reading.

Isabella is providing physiotherapy supports to adults >18 years of age within Suthern Sydney and the Sutherland Shire.

Qualifications

Isabella received her postgraduate Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from Macquarie University.

Isabella has undertaken extra learning within neurological rehabilitation, including obtaining her Level 2 Neurological Physiotherapy training withe the Australian Physiotherapy Association, and Level 2 PD Warrior certification for training individuals with Parkinsons’s disease. Isabella has also engaged in skill development regarding wheelchair prescription and Assistive Technology reportinging within the NDIS.

Isabella has received her Mental Health First Aid certificate, and maintains current First Aid and CPR certification.

Experience

Isabella has worked in community-based and hospital rehabilitation for over 4 years. She has expereinced working with a wide range of individuals living with a disability, including neurological disorders, progressive diseases, mental health disorders, and physical disabilities.

Isabella is experienced navigating the NDIS lansdcape and reporting requirements, often assisting individuals to understand plan and advocate for supports in their NDIS plans.
